The casting studies are a continuation from the course "Formwork's" taught by Firat Erdim. These speculative constructions accompany discussions of texts on architectural detailing and craft, as well as of works by artists and architects including Walter Pichler, Peter Zumthor, Gordon Matta-Clark, Matthew Barney, Rachel Whiteread, Eva Hesse, and Doris Salcedo, among others.
